Born and raised in Longwood, NC, Vallin has got mad merchandising skills having started out in Shipping where he was able to touch hundreds and hundred of pipes as they were prepped to ship all over the world. As our Junior Pipe Buyer, Vallin works closely with our Pipe Manager to acquire from around the world pipes of all shape and make, in addition to supervising quality control of the majority of our inbound pipe shipments, inputting measurements & weights on each specific piece, and working with the rest of the Merchandizing team to maintain the organization of our ever-growing inventory. Vallin is certainly a kid at heart; he loves watching cartoons, playing video games, and working on cars—especially Hondas. Vallin's first day of work with Smokingpipes also happened to correspond with our monthly birthday and anniversary party. After meeting the entire crew at once, and getting to know us over sandwiches and cake, Vallin determined that he never wants to leave. And we're not ready for him to, either.
