ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

 

Laudisi Enterprises, the parent company of Smokingpipes.com, Laudisi Distribution Group, Cornell & Diehl, Peterson of Dublin and Low Country Pipe & Cigar is searching for a bright and gregarious problem solver dedicated to being a 'Champion of Service' for our growing customer base. As a customer service champion, our Customer Service Representatives provide the highest level of service possible to all customers through telephone conversations, email, and face-to-face meetings while demonstrating an intimate knowledge and passion for all things relating to pipes, pipe tobacco, cigars and accessories. Our Customer Service Representatives continually strive to improve the customer experience to guarantee customer loyalty. 

 

As our customers’ go-to-resource, Customer Service Representatives have a general knowledge of many things, but are constantly looking to learn more. Ideal candidates for this position have a passion for helping others and a drive to achieve outstanding customer satisfaction. If you are energetic and friendly, to the point where others can hear your smile through a phone call, or recognize your service-oriented personality through an email without the use of emoticons, you may be a great fit for our Customer Service team.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Answering customer inquiries with care via phone, email, and live chat

  • Researching data relating to customer orders to identify potential issues or areas where additional service is needed

  • Building and nurturing close relationships with repeat customers

  • Working with carrier websites to help locate missing packages

  • Inside sales

  • Conduct some in-person customer service and sales at our brick-and-mortar storefront, Low Country Pipes and Cigars, as needed

  • Perform basic data entry tasks to keep customer files up to date and accurate

 

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal

  • Personable, energetic, professional, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization

  • Thrives on working in a highly collaborative and creative environment

  • Proficient in a Windows based computing environment and internet savvy

  • Familiar with and general working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Weekend and evening availability (up to 7 PM)

  • Have a valid driver’s license

  • Pass a criminal background check

 

BONUS SKILLS:

 

  • While prior pipe and cigar knowledge is not required and is developed through on-site training, it is a major plus!

  • Previous customer service experience preferred, but not required
