We, Laudisi Enterprises, the parent company of, Laudisi Distribution Group, Cornell & Diehl, Peterson of Dublin and Low Country Pipe & Cigar, are looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Smokingpipes team as a Purchasing Specialist. 

As an integral member of the Smokingpipes team, the Purchasing Specialist will skillfully execute purchasing across a wide variety of products and goods for our customer-facing, online retail store. The ideal candidate will planfully analyze inventory in anticipation of product needs and will work with other members of the Laudisi/ Smokingpipes team to ensure appropriate product levels and pricing.   • Purchase goods/tobacco products in accordance with Laudisi policies & procedures

  • Interface with proprietary software to determine appropriate inventory levels and purchasing needs

  • Balance and, if necessary, correct/seek corrections for vendor invoices

  • Monitor and manage retail pricing across all retail channels 

  • Build and maintain productive vendor relationships 

  • Liaise with Laudisi’s Receiving department to ensure accuracy of invoices, orders, pricing, and product information/data 

  • Perform other duties as assigned



  • Extensive knowledge of retail purchasing duties and best practices

  • 4-year degree in Economics, Mathematics or equivalent is strongly preferred

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software



  • Possesses exceptional communication skills

  • Maintains a personable, energetic, professional, self-motivated, and detail-oriented approach to work

  • Demonstrates strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Possesses strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to work autonomously while also building strong working relationships with management and team members

  • Possess a valid Driver’s License

  • Possess a clean driving record

  • Ability to pass a clean criminal background check
